Okay, it is Monday and we all need to laugh. I can't quit thinking about this funny, sweet incident that happened last night at Dairy Queen. We were enjoying our ice-cream and great fellowship. Well, it was time to leave and we proceeded to clean up and throw away our empty containers. So, here's the funny part.

Dad: Son, please put this (meaning empty cups of ice cream) in the trash.

Without missing a beat, the son replies, "Mommy said I can't get up."

Kids are too witty. Here this little one was taking a "break" but when asked to get up and throw away the empty containers, he used this excuse to his advantage! Yes, despite our best efforts, we laughed and laughed. In case you are wondering, the son did take the empty containers to the trash.

Life is always sweeter when you are laughing and having a good time with friends. Thank you Lord, for blessing us with a wonderful church family.

P.S. I am amazed at how much these kids have grown!

Life sure is precious. I am always amazed at how quickly circumstances can change. I am glad to report that Dad is doing amazingly wonderful. We know his recovery is a miracle. Thank you everyone for your prayers.

As I sit here, I hear my alarm going off. Oh, do I really have to go to work! There's a part of me that says, "Oh, I just want to lounge around and spend time with my family." However, I am ever so happy because today is my FRIDAY!! I am looking forward to a fantastic weekend. I believe I will take the following quote to heart:
