Actually there is more than one promise contained therein: . We do not have to fear, because God is with us. . There is no reason to be dismayed when you consider who your God is. . When you feel weak or overwhelmed He promises to strengthen you. . When others turn their back on you, He promises help...divine assistance...help beyond what others are capable of. . He promises to uphold you with His righteous right hand...right hand is hand of power.
