Okay, it is Monday and we all need to laugh. I can't quit thinking about this funny, sweet incident that happened last night at Dairy Queen. We were enjoying our ice-cream and great fellowship. Well, it was time to leave and we proceeded to clean up and throw away our empty containers. So, here's the funny part.

Dad: Son, please put this (meaning empty cups of ice cream) in the trash.

Without missing a beat, the son replies, "Mommy said I can't get up."

Kids are too witty. Here this little one was taking a "break" but when asked to get up and throw away the empty containers, he used this excuse to his advantage! Yes, despite our best efforts, we laughed and laughed. In case you are wondering, the son did take the empty containers to the trash.

Life is always sweeter when you are laughing and having a good time with friends. Thank you Lord, for blessing us with a wonderful church family.

P.S. I am amazed at how much these kids have grown!

Don't you just love it when the children make you laugh when you are trying to correct them? I wonder if they Lord ever bust out into laughter at us when He is in the middle of correcting us. Probably so especially when we really do something way beyond dumb. You think?

Surprising how quickly little ones have answers to fit their agenda. It's moments like the one you had at Dairy Queen that make life/children precious. (Anyway, they know exactly how to work us - and I love how we fall for it everytime).
