Jesus He's Better By Sheldon Pryor

Sitting here today just relaxing. Okay, I need a video camera because at this very moment Sheldon is outside singing his song, Jesus is Better. Some of the words are: Jesus, He's better than Wii, better than X-Box, better than Nintendo-DS, He's better. Yes, He's Jesus. I just love it! Hmm, maybe we have a future song writer here!

Our neighbor just stepped outside, gave him the thumbs up, and told him he is a good guitar player. At first Sheldon, said, "Mom I thought he was going to tell me to stop. I didn't realize I had an audience." Kids are just the greatest ever. I guess there is more than one way to get the message across. Who knows, his song may have made an impact! I love the very fact that he was singing about Jesus!

Some days, we simply need to relax. Yes, I can think of a million things that I need to do, but for now I am enjoying the sweet smell of banana nut bread that just came out of the oven; I am sipping on coffee, and looking out the window watching my son as he has now changed gears and is using his desk chair as a race car. Okay, you'll have to pardon my musings but today is one relaxing, do not get in a hurry kind of day.

Kids have a way of releasing the thoughts of their heart into ours. What a precious post.

Jana, thanks for stopping by. We did have a fun, relaxing day. There is something about the fall that always causes us to slow down a wee bit. I like to take time and bake!

Ronda, yes, I too am glad that is singing about Jesus, no sweeter name I know.

Catherine, yes are lives do stand as a book that people read!

Karen, kids truly have a unique way of expressing their thoughts and feelings. That is why we always need to set the right example!
