As we were driving home from the golf range, we were talking about work, and Mark said, "If you want people to give you their best, you have to treat them like they are the best." This is a great thought. People will always go the extra mile if they know that they are appreciated.

People will go the extra mile when they know that they are appreciated. One thing I have never understood is why some people feel that to appreciate and honor someone who works with them somehow diminishes them...when in reality just the opposite is true...it takes a great man/lady to honor someone.

While writing this comment I was reminded of Phil. 2:3 ...in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

Rochelle, thanks for your vote of confidence. I'll have to say that I am still uncertain when it comes to rollerblading. As long as I am going straight, everything is fine. LOL We are continuing to practice and I look forward to the day that I can rollerblade with ease. Sheldon keeps telling me that soon I will be able to rollerblade backwards! Oh, what faith. Take care!
