Capucine... Nasturtium in english. Sweet memories of my grandmaman in Switzerland, very popular in Yverdon. Us kids loved the smell of it. Is your a climbing one?
Try it in small portions in a fancy salad. Peppery taste, somewhat like a strong radish.
I like the proverb :)
BTW I now remember that I was supposed to give you some of these seeds... sorry, I forgot.

Catherine, our childhood memories are precious. I am not sure if this particular variety climbs; I am hoping that it does because I would love for it to decorate the back wall. I bought this particular variety because I liked the red and yellow. I wasn't sure if I would get any blooms this year. When I first saw the flower, I thought it was a yellowing leaf and I was concerned that it was dying, but when I looked a little closer I saw the tiniest flower. I love the unexpected. It's as if God was saying, "Here's yet another reminder of my love." I'll keep you posted on its progress. BTW, please do not worry about the seeds. :) I appreciate your thoughtfulness. God bless you!
