We want to thank God for Trudy's wonderful recovery. She is just amazingly strong and her faith in God is even stronger.
Last weekend when we went to see her, she was all smiles. She was telling us about her boxing exercises. Her therapist was having her perform some upper cuts and jabs here and there. He even encouraged her to try to hit him in the chin. At first, her bashful, kind nature would not allow her to do this. However, by the time her therapy session was over, she had connected with his chin and everyone was laughing. She said that people stopped to watch what they were doing because they were having so much fun.
Even in this trying time, she is still able to have fun and laugh. A few of her exercises are challenging, but she continues to gain new strength in her leg. She is determined to regain her mobility in record timing. We absolutely adore Trudy. She has a way of lighting up the room and making everyone smile.
She is not old, but I like this German Proverb, “The oldest trees often bear the sweetest fruit.” She definitely has a sweetness about her that is inviting and encouraging. God bless Trudy!

Indeed she does have a very sweet personality. It is awesome to see how far God has brought her in such a short period of time.

I am so amazed at how God is healing her. She looks great, and her spirit is so uplifting.
God is doing amazing things - Sis Trudy's recovery is one of them!

I agreed, she is doing awesome and looks great. She was sharing some of her dog stories with us yesterday. She is a great lady. She told us she may be able to go out for a few hours. So we asked if she would like to come to church one Sunday if her son will allow her. Keep praying for her.
Yes, Trudy is amazing. Thank you everyone for your comments. Also, to all of you dear ladies who have visited Trudy, we want you to know that we appreciate you taking time to see her. We know your visits mean a lot to Trudy. :-)
Rochelle, Trudy is so sweet. She is one of those ladies that you just cannot be around without smiling or if you are sad, you will leave happy. She just has a way of making people smile.
